Frequently asked questions
Do I need the “data:image/png;base64,” prefix?
No. You can paste raw Base64 or a full data URI. The file type is detected from the decoded bytes either way.
Which image formats are supported?
PNG, JPEG, GIF, WebP, SVG, BMP and ICO are detected automatically. Other formats can still be downloaded as a binary file.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. HushConverts converts everything with code that runs in your browser, so your text and files stay on your device. You can even use most tools offline once the page has loaded.
