Frequently asked questions
How much smaller is WebP?
Often 25–80% smaller than PNG, depending on the image. Photos shrink the most.
Does my browser support WebP output?
Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Opera can create WebP. Safari can display WebP but may produce PNG instead; you’ll see a note if that happens.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. HushConverts converts everything with code that runs in your browser, so your text and files stay on your device. You can even use most tools offline once the page has loaded.
