Frequently asked questions
What is a Unix timestamp?
It is the number of seconds since 1 January 1970 at 00:00 UTC. JavaScript and many APIs use milliseconds instead, which is the same number times 1,000.
How do I know if my timestamp is in seconds or milliseconds?
Present-day timestamps have 10 digits in seconds and 13 in milliseconds. The converter detects this from the length.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. HushConverts converts everything with code that runs in your browser, so your text and files stay on your device. You can even use most tools offline once the page has loaded.
