How to use the Merge PDF tool

  1. Drop your PDF files onto the box, or click to choose them.
  2. Use the arrows to put the files in the order you want.
  3. Click Merge PDFs and the combined file downloads.

Why merge PDFs in your browser?

PDFs are often the most private files people handle: contracts, payslips, bank statements, ID scans and medical letters. Most online PDF tools upload them to a server to do the work. This one copies the pages on your own device, so nothing is sent anywhere and there is no size limit or waiting for an upload.

Tips for a clean result

  • Order first: files are merged top to bottom, so use the arrows before you click Merge.
  • Only need some pages? Take them out first with Split PDF, then merge the smaller files.
  • Adding photos or scans? Turn them into a PDF with JPG to PDF, then merge it with the rest.
  • Password-protected files need the password removed in your PDF reader first.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a limit on file size or the number of PDFs?

No fixed limit. Merging happens in your browser, so the only limit is your device’s memory. Hundreds of pages are fine on most computers and phones.

Will merging reduce quality?

No. Pages are copied as they are, so text stays sharp and searchable and images keep their original quality.

Can I merge password-protected PDFs?

Not directly. Open the PDF in your reader, remove the password (usually by printing or saving a copy without it), then add it here.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. HushConverts converts everything with code that runs in your browser, so your text and files stay on your device. You can even use most tools offline once the page has loaded.
